The Antah:Prerana Learning System (APLS) is grounded in the Pedagogy of the Technology of Consciousness (TOC) and Modality of Consciousness. A future-ready approach that integrates nature, technology, multidisciplinary awareness, inquiry and life skills within a flexible microschool structure.
At its core, TOC recognises that true learning begins with awareness, presence, and connection with oneself, others, and the world. In a world dominated by technology and AI, we encourage our learners to look within and become masters of their innate technology - their senses.
The campus and learning system are intentionally designed to support the Technology of Consciousness through sensorial learning corners that help learners sharpen and refine their senses. By engaging the senses sight, sound, touch, movement, and observation, children deepen attention, focus, and emotional awareness, which are the foundations for meaningful learning.
Rooted in the idea that learning is interconnected, the Modality of Consciousness moves beyond isolated subjects. Mathematics connects with art, language with technology, and science with lived experience.
Children are guided to ask deeper questions, examine multiple perspectives, and actively seek understanding rather than memorize isolated information. This approach nurtures curiosity and inquiry by helping learners explore relationships between ideas, disciplines, and perspectives. By engaging with multiple viewpoints, children develop awareness, empathy, and compassion, learning to question deeply, think holistically, and seek meaningful understanding in a complex world.
The Upcycled Corners are creative learning spaces made from sustainable, repurposed materials. Designed with frugal innovation in mind, elements like bamboo storytelling sheds and crate shelves are often co-created by learners, showcasing thoughtful, sustainable design throughout the campus.
In a world overwhelmed by waste, learners move beyond conversations about sustainability to real action. Through hands-on upcycling, students learn that nothing is wasted and everything holds potential. They develop creativity, problem-solving, and innovation by transforming discarded materials into functional, meaningful spaces. They nurture environmental awareness, responsible consumption, and resourcefulness, empowering learners to design solutions that balance creativity with care for the planet.
In a world dominated by medication and quick fixes, learners are encouraged to understand their bodies as systems capable of balance and self-healing. Designed as a living knowledge aisle, this Ayurvedic and Nature-based wellness space introduces learners to Ayurveda and natural health systems with scientific reasoning. Through exploration of food, herbs, and lifestyle practices, students develop awareness of health, nutrition, and preventive care.
It supports scientific inquiry and entrepreneurial thinking. Learners interested in science, medicine, or wellness explore how natural health practices can evolve into meaningful future professions, such as research, clinical practice, or wellness enterprises. By integrating science, mindfulness, and purpose, this space allows every learner to discover unique pathways.
Together, these spaces strengthen a pedagogy that prepares learners not just for careers, but for life in a complex, evolving world, where adaptability, well-being, creativity, and purpose matter as much as academic knowledge.
This new-age pedagogy encourages learners to tune into their inner calling, develop agency, and grow as creators rather than job seekers.
Through the integration of consciousness, technology, and lived experience, Antah: Prerana offers a pedagogy that is deeply human, forward-looking, and aligned with the needs of future leaders.
